Oconee Medical Center in Seneca, SC, the grand prize winner of Siemens Healthcare’s recent “Who Inspires You?” video contest, has installed the MAMMOMAT Inspiration, Siemens’ full-field digital mammography system. By winning a MAMMOMAT Inspiration, the small community hospital extends its patient-centric care by offering women new technologies and luxuries included in the system.
Winning the Inspiration was the foundation for Oconee’s new comprehensive Breast Care Center, a state-of-the-art digital mammography facility that opened September 6. The opening was commemorated with a Sept. 20 ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for Oconee employees and local residents.
