MediSend International introduces its General Richard B. Myers Veterans Biomedical Equipment Technology Program to train returning US veterans. General Richard B. Myers, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff attended the announcement.

While traditional channels, such as universities and colleges average 24 to 30 months for completion of this training, the Myers Program at MediSend will train veterans in six months, according to MediSend. Its training programs have received formal approval from the US BMET Board of Examiners and the United States Certification Commission, qualifying graduates to attain advanced certification and eligibility for greater earning potential.

“Veterans know how to work in a team environment. They can bring a sense of leadership and dignity to any organization,” Myers said. “MediSend’s elite training program will create viable job opportunities and the potential for a lifetime of increased earning power for these men and women. It is an investment in the future for individuals who have served their country and protected our security both here and abroad.”
