HX360The first gathering of HX360, a new initiative to “improve healthcare delivery by leveraging next generation technologies while maintaining the fiscal health of the health system,” according to the event website, will take place April 13-15, 2015 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Headlining with the catchphrase “Leading in the New Technology Enabled Environment,” the HX360 Inaugural Event will bring technology innovators together with health IT professionals and executive leaders across the care continuum to drive positive change in healthcare.

Co-located with the HIMSS15 Annual Conference (April 12-16), HX360 promises an innovative program that will examine ways entrepreneurs, investors, providers, payers, healthcare stakeholders, and new entrants in the market can work together to solve contemporary provider challenges with regard to three key themes: clinical workflow, care coordination, and patient experience.

In addition to a variety of sessions, there will be keynote talks given by Steven Collens, Matter & J.B. Pritzker, Pritzker Group; Chad Eckes, Wake Forest Baptist Medical; Robert Mittendorff, Norwest Venture Partners; and Harry Greenspun, Deloitte Services LLP. There will also be “Executive Spotlight” presentations from Tomer Levy, McKesson; and Carla Kriwet, Philips Healthcare. For more information about the HX360 event, visit the HX360 website.

Also occurring at the HX360 Inaugural Event will be the final culmination of the first annual HX360 Innovation Challenge, a competition intended to identify, highlight, and recognize companies that are making the most significant contributions to improving patient experience as it relates to not-for-profit hospitals and health systems. The competition will culminate on April 14, at 2:30-4:30 pm in Room E350 at McCormick Place. For more information about the competition, visit the HX360 Innovation Challenge web page.
