BC Technical, a non-OEM medical imaging solutions provider, has announced that it acquired Atlas Medical Technologies, its second acquisition of 2015. The company reports that the agreement allows it to add diagnostic imaging service resources and knowledge, solidifying the company’s position as a nationwide, independent service, systems, and parts provider for CT, MR, NM, PET and PET/CT.

Based out of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif, and St. Petersburg, Fla, Atlas Medical Technologies is a provider of CT and MR refurbished and preowned systems, services, and projects. As part of the deal, Atlas CEO Skip Watkins and cofounder Ron Brewer will stay on as part of the BC Technical leadership team.
