The 2014 annual meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is on track to host the largest number of participants in the history of the society. Scheduled for October 22–25 in San Antonio, Tex, the event will feature a full range of plenary, platform, and poster sessions, workshops, student events, and networking opportunities.
A new event this year will be a meeting of the Medical Devices Special Interest Group. A special platform from the SIG will be held Thursday, October 23 at 12:45 in room 003A in the convention center. The topic of the session is Computational Modeling and Simulation for Medical Devices and it will include speakers from the FDA and industry.
