Available in sizes from small office models to floor or wall/panel-mounted industrial units ranging in power ratings from 140 VA to 25kVA, the Topaz 800 line features power factor correction, harmonic attenuation, galvanic isolation, surge protection (UL 1449 rating 330v; ANSI/IEEE C62.41-CatB3) and transverse mode noise attenuation. The units are rated at 200,000 hours Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and boast in excess of 93 percent efficiency at full load. Units come with a 10-year warranty on core and coil. High-Speed, Low-Distortion Amplifier
Analog Devices Inc. (Norwood, Mass.) announces the AD8007 high-speed current-feedback amplifier, developed for the high-performance ultrasound, instrumentation and communications markets. The AD8007 features extremely low distortion (-80 dB at 20 MHz) and low noise, all while drawing 9 mA. It has 600 MHz of bandwidth and a slew rate of 1,000 volts per microsecond. It features a second harmonic distortion of –88 dB at 5 MHz and –80 dB at 20 MHz, with a third harmonic distortion of –101 dB at 5 MHz and –84 dB at 20 MHz.
