X-RAY MULT-O-METER
Unfors (New Milford, Conn.) introduces the Mult-O-Meter 731L into its Mult-O-Meter 730 series of X-ray meters. This pocket-sized meter uses an external current clamp for noninvasive measurements of mA and mAs. It can be used when the mA is greater than 50 and the diameter of the high voltage cable is less than 23 mm. An external detector measures the kVp, dose, rate, time and pulses in the range 50-150 kVp with high accuracy. The meter is calibrated to international traceable standards. PULSE OXIMETRY TESTER
BC Group International Inc. (St. Louis) adds the FingerSim Pulse Oximetry Testing System (the former Finger Phantom) to its product line-up. Included in each kit is a set of three finger simulators, each containing a fluid which allows the simulators to mimic light-absorbing qualities of arterial blood as measured by an oximeter at different oxygen saturation values.
