Meterman Test Tools (Everett, Wash) introduces the PM Series of ultracompact, easy-to-use digital multimeters (DMMs). The three DMMs—the PM51, PM53, and PM55—offer user protection with UL safety ratings up to CAT III at 300V and CAT II at 600V. Only slightly larger than a credit card and weighing less than 3 ounces, each model features full-size utility with a large, oversized display and built-in leads. Primalert monitors are self-contained units with energy-compensated GM detectors, which are specially designed for a wide range of area-monitoring applications. A remote alarm is available for added security. The system consists of a digital monitor, two shielded Nal (Tl) scintillation detectors with NEMA enclosures, associated cabling and a 10 µCi Cs-137 check source.
