NIBP Simulator
Clinical Dynamics (Wallingford, Conn) offers AccuPulse’s CalTables™ that delivers accurate testing of NIBP monitors, typically within 1 to 2 mmHg or better of the setting. AccuPulse’s CalTables was developed with and certified by NIBP monitor manufacturers. Everyone can now test using the same accurate and certified NIBP simulator.

Adult and neonate mandrels are built into AccuPulse for portability and ease of use. Adapter hoses insert between the NIBP device, cuff, and analyzer. These adapters are compatible with oscillometric NIBP monitors. Standard accessories include an external power supply and cord, five adapter hoses, an inflation bulb with “T” fitting, a self system leak test hose, and an internal battery. Shielded Patient Cables
Bioconnect (San Diego) offers unitized, shielded cables that are molded with the cable, yoke, and leadwires as a single molded unit, helping to prevent accidental lead disconnection. The cable is available in a 3- or 5-lead configuration with pinch grabber terminations. The pinch terminations are made with overmolded berilium copper spring contacts. The cables are also available with standard .156-inch medical snaps. The leadwires are double-shielded to reduce induced (RF, EMI) and triboelectric noise. Bioconnect’s unitized patient cables are molded with Santoprene^® (TPE) jackets, which are latex free; resistant to most cleaning solvents; and may be sterilized using steam, Eto, or gamma radiation.
