Philips Receives Top Rating in IMV SurveyRoyal Philips Electronics announced that customers have rated its medical systems division number one in overall service performance in the 2007 IMV ServiceTrak Imaging—All Systems survey. IMV Ltd, an independent third-party research firm, conducts market research and online publishing for the medical imaging and clinical diagnostic instruments markets. It also publishes a series of annual ServiceTrak reports in the health care industry. For the 2007 ServiceTrak Imaging—All Systems report, customers were asked to rate more than 6,400 computed tomography, magnetic resonance, nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography, ultrasound, and x-ray systems on 34 performance factors across the product ownership lifecycle, including satisfaction with service, system performance, service engineers, installation, and training. “We are especially proud of our number one ranking across all six service engineer performance factors associated with customer satisfaction,” said Tom Kirkland, senior VP of customer services, North America, for Philips Medical Systems. “IMV ServiceTrak surveys provide valuable feedback, not only to measure what we're doing well, but also to identify areas for improvement. As Philips seeks to deliver on our promise of sense and simplicity, we will continue to work harder and smarter every day to help our customers provide superb patient care.” IMV has more than 19 years of experience in analyzing the medical imaging, clinical diagnostic, and instrument markets. Survey respondents are drawn from a randomized database of US hospitals and imaging centers.
