GE Healthcare Clinical Systems has garnered the Platinum Vendor status award from MedAssets Supply Chain Systems, the highest vendor designation awarded by the company.
By partnering with health care providers, MedAssets helps improve their financial strength by implementing solutions that help control cost, improve margins and cash flow, increase regulatory compliance, and optimize operational efficiency. MedAssets serves more than 125 health systems, 2,500 hospitals, and 30,000 non-acute care health care providers.
“We honor outstanding vendors like GE Healthcare for their continued dedication to improving customer savings and customer satisfaction, filing reports and submitting fee schedules in a timely manner, continuous growth in purchase volume, and supporting MedAssets’ philanthropic efforts,” said Mark Miriani, president, MedAssets Supply Chain Systems.
MedAssets selected GE Healthcare based on GE’s comprehensive contract portfolio, contract sales growth year after year, and overall responsiveness to provide value to MedAssets’ customer health care professionals. GE Healthcare also received another Platinum-level award for its Life Sciences business, a Gold-level award for its med surgical program for GE’s anesthesia delivery, and maternal infant care products, as well as the Group Buy Vendor of the Year, again for the entire Clinical Systems division.
“GE Healthcare is pleased to be selected for these awards by such a prestigious group,” said Bob Moore, GM, corporate group services, GE Healthcare. “We appreciate the chance to continue to grow our relationship with MedAssets and serve its customers. We are honored that these awards recognize GE Healthcare as a leading provider of transformational medical technologies and services.”
