The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) will hold a course on creating effective purchasing controls and supply chain management.

“Purchasing Controls and Supply Chain Management” features hands-on exercises and specific industry examples to help educate attendees on how to plan for supplier assessment/selection, define acceptance activities, and monitor supplier performance. Course attendees will also learn about relevant standards in their appropriate context.

The course also covers life-cycle management approaches for a device manufacturer’s supply chain.
