Last week’s announcement on Global Medical Imaging LLC’s (GMI) acquisition of Trident Imaging Services was the second most read on our Web site for the week ending July 2.

GMI and Trident announced they will combine to further expand their field service presence and broaden their scope of diagnostic medical imaging capabilities.

Trident Imaging Services—an independent service organization that offers ultrasound and nuclear imaging service and repair—will continue to be led by president and founder Will Martinez. Trident will continue to provide parts availability and repair capabilities for medical imaging equipment through the acquisition.
