Biomeds have organized to form the new Alabama Biomedical Society, which will hold its kickoff meeting on Saturday, May 17 in Birmingham, Ala.

The session features a talk by Bob Heacock—a legend among Alabama biomeds—vendor tables, and election of board members.

Lunch is free (courtesy of Sonora Sonora Medical Systems Inc), and the social hour with open bar that follows is sponsored by GMI.
