Carestream Health has announced that Markus B. Lusser has joined the company as senior vice president, global sales and services, a position with the company’s senior leadership team.

The position involves leading sales, installation, and support for Carestream’s digital medical imaging systems, healthcare IT solutions, medical film systems, and printers.

Previously, Lusser held a variety of positions at Siemens Healthcare during his 20 year tenure there, including vice president, global sales and marketing for Siemens’ Molecular Imaging business. He holds an electrical engineering degree in telecommunications and electronics from the College of Electrical Engineering in Innsbruck, Austria.

Carestream Health provides dental and medical imaging systems, health care IT solutions, molecular imaging systems for the life science research and drug discovery/development market, and x-ray film and digital x-ray products for the non-destructive testing market.
