Hospitals are cutting costs across the board, and whether it’s travel, personnel, or overtime hours, many biomedical departments today must make do with less. Hosted by the Middle Tennessee Biomedical Association (MTBA), the popular presentation, “Slashing Medical Equipment Costs in 2010,” will focus on the best ways to save for next year.
The presentation will share concrete methods that hospitals can use to save funds. The event will be held August 3 at the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn, and August 4 at the East Tennessee Children’s hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. Both events begin at 5:30 pm and will last two hours, including dinner.
