Engineers and technicians are not always known for their ability to write good reports. To help you out with your end-of-year obligations, 24×7 called on editorial board member Dave Harrington to offer some guidelines. Here is what he advised.
Below are 30 words, each with a single digit number in front of them. The magic here is to pick a random 3 digit number (like 241), choose from among the available terms, and use those words in a sentence. It may not always make sense, but the person reading the report will not ask what it means.
