Sectra recently signed a five-year agreement for radiology IT solutions with the two-site regional hospital Gelre Ziekenhuizen in the Netherlands. The order includes an upgrade of the customer’s existing PACS system, as well as service and support.
The hospitals also invested in Sectra’s RIS solution with fully integrated speech recognition. Additionally, Sectra Control Tower, a solution for radiology workflow management, will be implemented to help streamline processes at the hospital’s radiology departments.
Gelre performs around 225,000 exams per year. Sectra will finalize the implementation of its solutions in early 2012.
