Siemens Healthcare, Malvern, Pa, and Novation LLC, Irving, Tex—which extends pricing benefits to the members their contracts serve—have extended their group purchasing agreement for the sales of CT and mobile C-arm x-ray systems. The new agreements go into effect on March 1, 2011, and have an initial term of three years.
These extended supplier agreements allow Siemens to offer diagnostic CT and mobile C-arm devices under Novation contract to members of VHA Inc, University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), and Provista.
Novation members have access to a complete portfolio of Siemens’ CT solutions, including the SOMATOM® Definition AS line, which supports FAST CARE—a new technology platform that addresses both workflow and radiation dose. Novation members will also have access to the ARCADIS family of C-arm x-ray technology.
