The company behind the MediMizer CMMS for hospitals, MediMizer Inc, Encinitas, Calif, has released the seventh update of its Web Work Order App. The app allows technicians to use any device that includes a web browser, such as a tablet or smart phone, to view a list of scheduled and unscheduled work orders. Technicians can close existing work orders and also add new orders while on the move. The app offers barcode scanning capabilities as well.
The Web Work Order App works in conjunction with the MediMizer computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), which the company first released in 1983. The CMMS is now in its 13th version.
