To help hospitals smoothly administer complex meaningful use attestation, Healthland, a provider of integrated solutions to rural community and critical access hospitals,  announced on June 11 that it has partnered with health IT integrator Iatric Systems.

Through this partnership, Healthland and Iatric Systems will help rural facilities streamline their meaningful use attestation efforts by automating the calculation, tracking, and reporting of clinical quality measures and meaningful use core and menu objectives. Iatric Systems’ Meaningful Use Manager will be integrated into Healthland’s electronic health record (EHR) solution to provide a view of a facility’s compliance status for all Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements.

“For many rural hospitals and providers, Meaningful Use Stage 2 attestation is critical to the success of their facility,” said Pete Ketchum, director of product management at Healthland. The partnership, he added, “helps our clients more effectively measure and monitor their progress.”

“With the ONC-ACB 2014 certified Meaningful Use Manager solution, Healthland customers can now eliminate any guesswork, manual tracking, and tedious monitoring, as well as keep stakeholders well informed,” said Frank Fortner, president of Iatric Systems.
