Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc, Tustin, Calif has named Girish T. Hagan VP of marketing.
The company markets, sells, distributes, and services diagnostic imaging systems, and coordinates clinical diagnostic imaging research for modalities nationwide.
Hagan joined the company in 2005 and has served as director of business development and strategic management. He played a key role in alignments with vendors such as McKesson and Vital Imaging. Earlier, Hagan worked for AGFA, Bayer Corp, and GE Medical.
Toshiba holds number one positions in six of eight MD Buyline categories, and was named Best in KLAS 2007 in CT, MR, and ultrasound.
Hagan will head the company‘s business units, including CT, MR, ultrasound, x-ray, and x-ray vascular, and will handle strategic marketing for products in the medical imaging industry.
