Canon USA Inc, Melville, NY, will introduce the RadPro Delinia 200 at the upcoming RSNA annual meeting. A direct radiography (DR) retrofit solution, the system’s auto-detection software acquires digital x-ray images using the x-ray source from an existing fixed radiographic room or analog mobile system. Designed to accommodate facilities using CR, DR, or both, this turnkey solution is intended to offer improved image quality and lower patient radiation dose.

“RadPRO digital radiography solutions, equipped with Canon leading-edge imaging technology, are designed to deliver high-resolution imaging with a low x-ray dose to the patient and to support an efficient and customizable workflow for the imaging department,” said Tsuneo Imai, vice president and general manager, Healthcare Solutions Division, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A. Inc. and president, Virtual Imaging Inc. “In addition, we strive to provide healthcare professionals products that offer flexibility and ease of use to help them deliver patient-focused care. The new RadPro Delinia 200 Digital x-ray Acquisition Cart provides an entirely new way for an organization to employ Canon digital radiography technology. For organizations that have not made the transition from CR to DR because of cost and possible disruption to their normal operations, it provides another cost-effective way to transition to DR technology.”

Canon will be exhibiting in South Bldg, Hall A, Booths 1241 and 1241X, at RSNA. For more information on the company’s DR product line, visit the Canon USA website.
