Sonora Medical Systems, Longmont, Colo, will market, sell, and distribute mammography offerings from Digitec Medical, Lawrenceville, Ga, throughout the Midwest and western United States, per a new sales distribution agreement.
Sonora furnishes after-market goods, services, and test equipment to the medical imaging market. Digitec is a large independent mammography service and after-market mammography-system provider nationwide, supplying systems and parts for companies such as GE, Lorad, Philips, Siemens, Fischer, and Instrumentarium.
G. Wayne Moore, Sonora’s president and CEO, says the agreement furthers his company’s mission of cutting non-value added costs from the health care system through strategic relationships between key companies in their respective fields.
