South Jersey Radiology Associates PA in Voorhees, NJ, is home to the 350th installed 3T Magnetom Trio MRI scanner from Siemens Medical Solutions.
This high-field imaging system has been installed in facilities around the world as a research tool and for clinical imaging. More than half of the 3T systems use the company’s proprietary total imaging matrix (Tim) coil architecture, which eliminates the need for patient repositioning and manual coil changes during scans while enhancing image quality.
The high signal-to-noise ratio of the unit, in combination with Tim technology, enables reduced scan times, which consequently reduces motion artifacts, improves patient comfort and helps increase patient throughput.
