In a recent analysis, market researcher Frost & Sullivan reports that Carestream Health has significantly increased its market share in the US digital and computed radiography (DR/CR) industry.
Carestream Health equips health care facilities with solutions for digital image capture for patient x-ray exams. The company’s DRX-1 system allows providers to upgrade existing x-ray rooms to DR technology without retrofiting existing x-ray equipment.
The company also bundles its DRYVIEW laser imaging systems with CR/DR systems to enable providers to print diagnostic images onto film for diagnosis, image sharing, and archiving.
