Lexmark has announced three new printers and one add-on scanner to meet the varying printer needs of health care organizations. The Lexmark X34x all-in-one printer series offers monochrome print, fax, and copy features; a legal-size flatbed color scanner that makes scanning and copying large documents easier; and a professional document-management software package to help health care organizations organize electronic data and convert scanned documents into PDF files.

The Lexmark C500n color laser printer can assist administrative offices that require color but also print large volumes of black and white documents.

The Lexmark X642e multi-function printer copies and prints at speeds of up to 45 pages per minute. It features a resolution of 1200×1200 dpi, and is the first multi-function printer in its class that scans to and prints directly from a flash drive, making the distribution of documents easy from department to department.

Allowing health care organizations to add copy, scan, e-mail, and fax functionality to their current printers, the 4600 scanner has a legal-size flatbed scanner with scanning capabilities in color and monochrome and features the same touch screen interface that is on Lexmark’s high-end laser multifunction products. For high quality print and intense document management needs, Lexmark offers the new X646ef laser printer bundle, which includes the new 4600 scanner, a T644dtn laser printer, and finishing capabilities such as stapling and sorting.
