The new Coronis Fusion 6MP DL PACS display system from global technology provider Barco, Duluth, Ga, enhances flexibility and productivity in diagnostic imaging.
The new system features a 30-inch color LCD that can be used as two seamless 3 megapixel heads, or one wide-screen 6 megapixel display. Grayscale and color-augmented modalities are furnished on a single high-resolution monitor.
The system, developed by Hitachi Displays Ltd, Tokyo—which is based on in-plane switching LCD technology—supports the new paradigm, which helps radiologists read CT, MR, cath, echocardiogram images, or other combinations, side by side on a diagnostic screen. A wide-screen bezel-free desktop allows radiologists to organize the workspace as they choose.
