Global Medical Imaging (GMI) has announced an agreement with Siemens Healthcare, effective July 1, to begin distributing the company’s ultrasound products and services in defined markets within the United States.
The deal gives GMI distribution rights to Siemens’ line of diagnostic ultrasound equipment, which includes both portable systems as well as multi-disciplinary systems with a full range of features, such as the Acuson SC2000. In a statement, GMI said Siemens’ technology will “broaden and enhance GMI’s ultrasound portfolio.”
