On July 1, Radcal Corp, Monrovia, Calif, became the exclusive distributor of Leeds Test Objects within the US. This new Radcal offering provides the necessary tools to evaluate both the imaging and x-ray sides of an x-ray imaging system.
“The Leeds Test Objects product line is a great compliment to the imaging QC product line for diagnostic X-ray,” said Pat Pyers, VP of sales and marketing for Radcal, “and it rounds out the complete product offering of Radcal.”
Following their adoption for clinical use by the UK Health Service in 1973, Leeds Test Objects phantoms, the first of which was manufactured in 1955, have become renowned as a clinical standard for establishing the correct operating performance of x-ray machines.
