At RSNA 2014, Elsevier, a publisher of medical and scientific literature, announced enhancements to two Amirsys solutions, STATdx and RADPrimer.
STATdx 6, a diagnostic decision support solution for radiology professionals, boasts a new look and feel, along with a flexible platform designed to continuously update radiologists with the most-current content. Radiologists using the new STATdx 6 can now search across 200,000 high-quality images for reference and decision collaboration with physicians.
Updates to RADPrimer, a comprehensive radiology curriculum tool, enable faculty to assign reading materials and tests across the entire curriculum. The solution also acts as a virtual teaching assistant; its assessment engine now gives residents the ability to take practice quizzes across multiple disciplines and difficulty levels. All 7,000 questions have been updated and categorized as case-based or multiple choice.
