Hanover Hospital, Hanover, Pa, will soon begin using Capsule Tech Inc‘s DataCaptor medical device integration (MDI) software. Hanover will use DataCaptor to connect its critical care patient monitors to its MEDITECH software information system. After the integration is complete, Hanover will look to integrate medical devices in its emergency department. Capsule’s MDI solutions enable connectivity between virtually any medical device and virtually any electronic medical record system, which allows hospitals to shape the type and scope of implementation to their specific needs. Patient data can be collected continuously in acute care settings or periodically in lower acuity, multi-patient environments. Implementations range from single department to multi-facilities.
