Join the Alabama Biomedical Society on Saturday, January 31 for its quarterly meeting, and learn what other biomeds are doing to cut costs in lean times.

The meeting will feature a presentation by a CFO who will speak on a timely topic: “The economic crisis hospitals face and the seriousness of the impending recession.”

Also stay for a round table discussion on what others are doing at their organizations, as well as a presentation by Pat Lynch of Global Medical Imaging on some of the innovative ways biomeds are cutting their budgets for 2009.

The meeting will be held at 11:30 am at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama Bradley Lecture Center in Birmingham.

There will be a $15 registration fee for non-members, which will be applied toward new membership. To register and find directions, visit the ABS Web site. Lunch will be provided by GE Clinical Service.
