Audra Poe, director, TriMedx

TriMedx Foundation, an Indianapolis-based nonprofit medical mission focused on addressing the international need for medical equipment repair and support, has named Audra Poe as its new director. In this role, Poe will lead the foundation team and volunteers.

According to the TriMedx announcement, Poe is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in directing nonprofit organizations through fundraising, special events, volunteer recruiting, and program development. Prior to joining the foundation, Poe served as director of the annual fund and special events for St. Richard’s Episcopal School, executive director of the Boone County Learning Network, and program director for Boone County Neighborhood Housing Services. In 2011, she was also recognized as Boone County Business Woman of the Year.

“Audra is an experienced leader who will not only help guide the foundation into the next decade of mission work, but will be instrumental in continuing to build upon relationships with volunteers, donors, and recipients,” said TriMedx Foundation board chair Tim McGeath. “Our mission to make a global impact in healthcare is critical, and Audra will serve that mission well.”

The TriMedx Foundation was founded over a decade ago to raise the standard of healthcare globally by working alongside local hospital staff and providing basic training on medical equipment repair and maintenance. The foundation accomplishes this through volunteer mission trips to repair and service medical equipment needed in order to provide patient care in developing countries.
