IT audit and compliance firm Coalfire has released an infographic outlining five steps healthcare organizations should observe in preparing for a HIPAA audit. According to the company, the guide is designed to help companies comply with the permanent HIPAA audit program the Department of Health & Human Services has instituted under its Office of Civil Rights.
