Doral, Fla.-based MedEquip Biomedical announces that it has successfully converted from ISO 9001:2008 standards and has received ISO 13485:2016 certification from NSF International Strategic Registration. The company, which was founded in 1992, was the first multi-vendor patient monitoring service company in the nation to achieve the ISO 9001 quality standard, MedEquip Biomedical’s vice president Michael Lipson says.

He adds: “Quality is the core of MedEquip’s business. This is representative of our commitment to quality and our customers.” Lipson adds that achieving ISO13485:2016 certification was a team effort. “Our entire team is committed to the rigorous quality standards associated with this certification,” he says.
