Irvine, Calif.-based Renovo Solutions announces that it has recently achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification in clinical engineering for management of healthcare technology services for customer-specific medical equipment services. Renovo is the first nationwide provider of comprehensive asset management services to be awarded this certification when compared to other major independent asset management service organizations, Renovo officials say.

According to the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO’s) website, the ISO 9001:2015 standard “is based on a number of quality management principles (QMPs), including a strong focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement.” Further, the seven quality principles are defined as: customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making, and relationship management.

“The effort our team, especially the clinical engineering and QA team led by Bhaskar Iduri, put into attaining the certification relays to our customers and prospects how efficiently Renovo runs our business, and supports our goal of being the leading provider of healthcare and life science asset management services,” says Sandy Morford, CEO of Renovo Solutions.

“It also shows how we provide innovative services and effective solutions to the evolving challenges of modern medical equipment, and our commitment to fostering a supportive work environment, which further encourages our employees to achieve their potential in ways that serve the needs of the customer,” Morford adds.

Achievement of this certification differentiates Renovo in the marketplace, and demonstrates the company’s ability to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, according to Renovo officials.
