Stillwater Medical Center, a 117-bed hospital Oklahoma, is using Accent on Integration‘s Accelero Connect to integrate its Philips IntelliVue patient monitors with its MEDITECH Emergency Department Management solution. As a result of the integration, Stillwater now has automated vital sign data capture and a more streamlined clinician workflow in its emergency department. Accelero Connect automatically routes vital signs to the patient chart, eliminating double documentation and saving time, which has increased nurse availability at Stillwater. Additionally, the automation allows clinicians to review patient data in real-time, and it has reduced the risk of possible documentation errors.
