The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) names Mary Logan, JD, CAE, its new president after an exhaustive search.
Logan will bring more than 20 years of senior management experience to AAMI. She most recently served as COO of the American Dental Association (ADA) in Chicago, where she was responsible for the organization’s operational management. Logan also gained regulatory and standards experience during her tenure with the ADA, as both its standards area and its large science division reported to her.
AAMI’s current president, Mike Miller, will retire in June 2009 after nearly 40 years with the organization. Logan will begin her post on April 6.
