Did you make it to AAMI this year in Charlotte, NC? It was in a nice location, near a park, restaurants, and shady streets. I always enjoy seeing people I’ve met before as well as finally meeting those of you I have corresponded with. I asked a lot of attendees what they were finding most beneficial and the word “wireless” kept coming up.
A number of people headed to the educator’s roundtable and found that beneficial. Others were interested in real-time location systems. At the HIMSS booth I learned there was a lot more interest in connectivity this year and that booth saw an increase in traffic. The HL7 class was also popular.
