The Washington State Biomedical Association (WSBA) has released an updated agenda of speakers for its 2015 annual symposium to be held on Saturday, March 28, in Seattle. In addition to the previously announced keynote speaker Patrick Lynch of Global Medical Imaging, who will address “Measuring the Value of Clinical Engineering,” five more speakers and courses have been announced.

Frequent 24×7 contributor Valdez Bravo of Portland, Ore, will speak on “Engaging the C Suite,” a topic he addressed in a recent 24×7 article. In addition, Shane Criddle of SpaceLabs Healthcare will discuss “Utilization of Technology for Cost-Reduction and Efficiency”; Matt Tomory of Conquest Imaging will lead a 2-hour, hands-on course on “How to Perform an ACR Compliant Ultrasound PM”; and Devin Cassey of GE Healthcare will offer an “Overview of MRI.” A member of AAMI’s staff will lead a session on career guidance.

The event will be held at North Seattle College; accommodations are available at a discounted rate through February 28 at the Nexus Hotel. For more information, visit the WSBA website or register online.
