Real-time locating systems (RTLS) are rapidly becoming a critical tool in healthcare facilities to manage assets and provide vital patient and staff flow data to hospital administrators. On June 18, 1–2 PM Eastern, AAMI will host a webinar to educate attendees on the traditional uses of RTLS technology for equipment tracking as well as more complex uses for workflow and safety. Presenters will emphasize the role of the biomedical engineer in evaluating different RTLS technologies and systems and the HTM professional’s strategic role in selection, implementation, and maintenance to ensure return on investment across multiple departments.
