Hospitals, distributors, and device manufacturers will gather October 20 to 21 for an upcoming conference on the forthcoming FDA UDI rule, which will establish a standardized device identification system.
Attendees will receive first-hand information on the progress and direction of the UDI Rule, delivered by industry associations and industry pioneers. The UDI marketplace in the exhibit hall will introduce attendees to new technology solutions necessary for successful UDI implementation and network with manufacturers, distributors, GPOs, and various other health care industry professionals.
The UDI Conference will also feature an update from the FDA on timelines and requirements and information on how to create an strategic implementation plan.
