Joint Commission International’s (JCI) first Advanced Practicum for Accreditation, Quality Improvement, and Patient Safety will begin July 9 in Chicago and last until Friday, July 13.

Health care leaders from around the world will gather to hear experts discuss key issues, visit hospitals that are recognized innovators in health care, and learn about new standards designed to improve the safety and quality of patient care.

The events will be held downtown at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The Advanced Practicum is designed for experienced health care professionals seeking best-practice techniques in quality and safety, as well as, those wanting an in-depth understanding of JCI’s accreditation standards.

The third edition of the JCI Accreditation Standards for Hospitals, scheduled for release this month, will be used as the foundation for the conference.
