A new webinar series from AAMI is aimed at current and aspiring managers in the healthcare technology management field. The first installment of the series, scheduled for 1:00 pm Eastern time on April 15, is entitled “Building Your Management Tool Box—Part 1: What is Management?”
The 1-hour session will be led by Abbe Meehan, president of TEC Resource center in Farmingdale, NY. The focus of this first webinar in the series will be on five core management functions: Planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and coordinating. In addition, Meehan will describe the management skills needed to be an effective leader and the responsibilities to promote a harassment-free work environment.
